TIF challenge

not half a dozen doilies…

… but the first stage of my July/August Take it Further Challenge, tentatively titled “hanging in the balance”.

The next stage is to gather the stitching, then wrap the bundles from the centre, in pairs, so the wrapping yarn links them together. I hope I’ve left enough fabric unstitched to get the effect I’m envisaging – we’ll see.
