A cushion? Did I just realize you said – a cushion? Puh-leeze, no! This is a work of art and really should be hung on a wall. I mean, obviously it is your business, not mine, or anyone else’s. But, really – it is too, too precious to be relegated to cushion status.

The warp I used for weaving was a thick cotton (I got it from a course at stirling castle, but I think it is orginally from fibrecrafts) and the wefts (of different thicknesses!) are axminster rug wool from texere. You have been warned

I love your cushion cover.I can see the influences of the colours of Tiree there! Gorgeous sea and beach tones. Hope you enjoy the weaving assignment. I found it a bit of a challenge, but enjoyed it in the end.
